Are you new to our club? Well, you've stumbled into the right place.
So you joined the club. Thats excellent! But do you know what you've gotten yourself into? If you've never
roleplayed DragonRiders of Pern (DRoP) before then you should read our
Intro to Pern page. If you have roleplayed DRoP before then I suggest you read our
Timeline. It will tell you our current plot.
Have you done that? Good. If you don't like what our club is about feel free to back out now and quit. I don't
want people who just are in the club and do nothing. Active members are what I want. Now, the next thing you need to do is
read the
Rules.
Have you read the rules yet? Wait, don't go! There's one more thing to do and its the most important thing.
You have to make a character! Go to our
Making a Character page to see how to do this. Remember, you can only have four characters (limit may be raised later on) so take your time
on them. Zmail me (Slathlinoeru) your character Bios and once I've approved them feel free to roleplay!

Examples of Pernese Roleplaying
Here is a bit of roleplaying taken from other Weyrs I have been in. I'm posting this so you
all can get a taste of what Pern is like.
Hatching Roleplay
The egg shook again, the fissure lengthening slowly, the grounds were so quiet the egg could
be heard, a small almost-ripping noise comming from the egg. A piece off the top dislocated and dropped onto the sands, a
small snout could be seen as the hole widened. Finally a head emerged and the tiny dragonet got it's damp body out of the
shell. It mewed pathetically and flapped its wet wings, it looked around the Sands desperatly.
The RougeShifter trilled and ran over to Saraj ~Thank you for saving my kinsman, they are
all not ready yet but I am~ The dragonet cocked her head, ~My name is Seeith, and I am special~
Dawneth was surprised at the dragonet, a RougeShifter would be interesting indeed, the little
female would be something to watch even though impressed to a girl she did not approve of. (( roleplayed by Daughter_of_Twilight

Weyrling Training
A tall female youth strode boldly into the Bowl with an equally presented
Lavender dragoness at her side. The pair stopped and listoned to the Weyrwoman's instructions. The female, Setsuna, made a
movement towards the pile of FireStone then stopped, turning back to her dragon. "You're not chewing are you?"
~I am not~
"Thats what I thought." She took up a flamethrower and with a help
from Selina she managed to produce a large flame.
"I need you to stay here love, I'll go get our gear."
She returned moments later with their Riding gear. Slipping into her
jacket and boots was a breeze, but putting on Yeinith's gear was a bit more time consuming.
Soon Setsuna had mounted her dragon, flamethrower in hand. She
waggled the weapon and called down to Selina, "I'm starting now!"
Yeinith took this as her cue to launch herself into the air. She pumped
her purpled wings and made her way to the top of the DaggerStone, careful to keep her distance from the barbed tip. {get closer!}
Setsuna commanded as she got the flamethrower ready.
Yeinith did as she was told and Setsuna began to flame. The pair darted
to each target and within a matter of minutes were back on the ground.
Setsuna vaulted off her dragon. She removed her helmet and ran a hand
through her auburn locks. She looked up at the smouldering targets, quite happy with herself and her dragon. (( roleplayed
